The effects of combination therapy with dutasteride and tamsulosin on clinical outcomes in men with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia: 4-year results from the CombAT study. Ou I et al i . examined the effects of traditional Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) in the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms suggestive of benign prostatic hyperplasia (LUTS/BPH), using claims data from Taiwan's National Health Insurance Research Database with propensity score matching between CHM users and non-users.1 In this study, 3977 of 9170 patients (43%) with newly diagnosed LUTS/BPH received CHM for at least 14 days, which was in concordance with authors' description that approximately 30% of patients in Taiwan visited CHM clinics with insurance covered by the National Health Insurance program.
