Several bulletin reports pertinent to women's health as of March 2005 are presented. Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation (WISEWOMAN) is a series of 15 initiatives being conducted across the United States that provide screening and lifestyle interventions for many low-income and uninsured women. The National Women's Health Resource Center recently stated in their consumer bulletin National Women's Health Report that low health literacy (LHL) affects an estimated 90 million people living in America. The Institute for Women's Policy Research has released its fifth biennial Status of Women in the States report, ranking all 50 states and the District of Columbia on women's progress toward equality. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in collaboration with sex work networks from around the world have developed an online tool kit for health service professionals who work with women, men, and transgender/transsexual sex trade workers.
