The article presents a study that aims to modify the student feedback instrument Clinical Learning Environment Inventory to provide information to clinical leaders regarding the features of the clinical learning environment. Noted is the importance of the leadership and guidance of clinical leaders to the integration of students and student learning in the clinical context. The clinical relevance of the study to clinical nursing practice is presented.
