The article discusses the arbitration regulations in Switzerland in of the constitutional obligations and standards of the European Court of Human Rights. It examines the use of domestic arbitration in various disputes that arise from contracts involving expropriation, and electricity supply or public transport in the country. It notes the ill-defined arbitration regulation in the country, which resulted to suggestions regarding the importance of judicial review to address the issue.
