The article examines the anatomy and biomechanics of posterolateral corner (PLC) of the knee. It looks at the functions of PLC such as to resist varus rotation, external tibial rotation, and posterior tibial translation. It examines the most important structures of PLC such as the lateral collateral ligament and the popliteus complex. It then looks at the clinical examination, surgical approach, repair techniques, and postoperative rehabilitation of PLC injuries.
