The article examines how cytotoxicity of four resin-based orthodontic cements (RBOC) is effected by plasma-emulating light emitting diode (LED) versus conventional LED. It evaluates cytotoxicity a function of degree of conversion (DC) and the light curing unit (LCU) employed on mouse fibroblast. It was found that high-intensity LCUs efficiently affect polymerization.
