The average BDO plant operating rate in China was at 65.3% in the week ended 14 January, up from 62.9%, ICIS data showed. In the import market, prices were maintained week on week at $1,300-1,350/tonne CFR (cost & freight) CMP (China Main Port) for bulk cargoes and unchanged at $1,400-1,450/tonne CFR SE (southeast) Asia on a drummed basis, ICIS data showed. In the PBT import market, prices held steady at $1.27-1.34/kg CIF NE Asia, and were unchanged at $1.28-1.34/kg CIF India in the week ended 14 January, according to ICIS data.
