The novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been rapidly spreading, causing a severe health crisis all around the world, including Indonesia. As expected, due to Indonesia's diverse topography and population, there are many variations in the number of cases amongst its provinces. Per March 19 2022, the number of confirmed positive cases in Indonesia reached 5,956,561 cases with a total of 153,599 cases of death. Meanwhile, there are significant differences in cases of COVID-19 in each province, which means that the severity of each region is different. Thus, some provinces with a high severity level should make more efforts to pay attention and give special treatment to their territory. Based on grouping total cases and CFR from 34 provinces using agglomerative hierarchical clustering with single linkage which its cophenetic correlation coefficient value is 0.98, there are 2 or 3 clusters to overview the severity level of COVID-19 in Indonesia with the silhouette coefficient value of each number of clusters is 0.86 and 0.84. The DKI Jakarta and West Java are provinces that have high severity of Covid-19. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
