In present times, natural fibers have become the most widely researched topic in the field of composite manufacturing. With the present-day research focused on developing solutions that are sustainable and environmentally friendly, natural fibers provide a good alternative. Natural fibers include both animal fiber and plant fiber. This research paper aims to analyze and compare the properties of Chicken feather fiber and Jute fiber for sustainable reinforcement polymeric composites. It is observed from the analysis that the process of obtaining Chicken Feather Fiber is simple and faster compared to Jute fiber. While jute fiber can easily be obtained into the long fiber of the required length, Chicken Feather Fibers are limited to short fibers of length 20 mm. Jute fiber can be easily woven, while CFF requires some binding material to even form mats. The comparison of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) indicates that CFF has better thermal stability compared to Jute fiber because of the presence of proteins present in CFF.
