The article discusses the political risk management in the marketing industry of a particular country. It notes that the assessment of political risk is primarily a two-step process that constantly depends on subjective probabilities and schematically assumes that the country is the suitable unit of analysis wherein a relative country risk is settled in the first step, and the second step evaluates the country-level risk factors on a specified project. Moreover, in tail of two distributions, an accurate way in determining the effect of political risk in the integrality of a business enterprise is to figure out the effect of political risk on the total value at risk (VAR) of the enterprise risk list.
