The article focuses on the problems affecting the Warrior Transition Units (WTUs). According to U.S. Army personnel chief Lieutenant General Michael Rochelle, lost documents, appointment delays, bureaucratic predicaments, undertrained personnel and widespread system injustice are among the problems the Army is faced with. The Army has then decided to transfer injured solders from medical holding units to WTUs. However, the increasing number of wounded servicemen and the evaluation process delay the provision for care and transition.
