The new chief minister's office (CMO) that was built by Ashok Gehlot's predecessor Vasundhara Raje in the premises of the state secretariat has become a cynosure of eyes of the chief ministers other states. Sources in the state government said that as many as four chief ministers from other states enquired about the CMO in Rajasthan and the funding it would require for them to raise similar structures in their respective states. "The CMs of Chattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh were inquisitive about the new building raised by the state government to accommodate the CM and other office staff," an official said.
