The article focuses on the role of strong faculty support in the success of students in completing online courses at the Dallas Baptist University (DBU) in Texas. It notes that DBU provides 34 online degree programs in which a course completion rate of 92-93% is maintained every semester. A faculty support system was established by DBU under which the faculty were encouraged to offer their support to the online courses. It adds that under the support system, compensation are given to faculty who have developed online course materials.
