The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of two stretching protocols on hip joint range of motion, jumping ability and the relationship between hip range of motion and jump ability. The sample of the study consisted of 15 men aged 22.80 4.93 years, height 1.81 0.06 meters and body weight 80.87 10.66 kg, who are engaged in a high level of track and field events. The Participants on three (3) different days performed three different protocols: the first was followed by the control group (CG) where no stretching was performed, the second by the group performing static stretching (SS) and the third by the group performing dynamic stretching (DS). The exercise protocol included assessment of passive stretching of the range of motion of the hip joint in the isokinetic dynamometer (cybex) for both legs, immediate execution of two jumps (CMJ) on the dynamometer floor, followed by intervention (static or dynamic stretching and no intervention) then jumps (CMJ) at 1.2.4 minutes after the intervention and the protocol was completed with measurements on the isokinetic dynamometer (hip range of motion and stiffness). The variables which evaluated were jump height, rate of force development (RFD), vertical take-off speed, average power CMJ jump, hip joint range of motion and stiffness. The results of the measurements showed that the range of motion of the hip joint increased statistically significantly (p
