In the presented paper, a new biquad topology is reported and described wherein five various types of filtering responses in each voltage mode and trans-impedance mode by applying appropriate type of only single voltage/current input signal are achieved. The implementation of reported topology employs only single DVCCTA which is fully realized in CMOS technology and also consists of five passive components as three resistors and two grounding type capacitors. In addition, key performance features like low consumption of power, reasonably low value of active/passive sensitivities and tuning capability of filter parameters are added by the proposed circuit too. Moreover, the operation and performance of the circuit is deeply examined by theoretical study of it and also by various SPICE simulation results performed in 0.18 µm CMOS TSMC technology parameters.
