With the aim of automatic positioning and fast response process of the optical clear adhesive (OCA) laminating for capacitance screen, a novel UVW platform to realize the X-Y-θ motion is designed with linear motors driving. And the visual inspection system is combined together to promote the performance of automatic alignment system of double aligning and turning plate laminating machine (DATPLM). The principle of the UVW platform is clarified and modeled, and the comprehensive simulation analysis is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the designed motion platform. The visualization system is set up and an experimental system is established to test the above key technologies. The experimental results indicate that the research in the paper can provide a key technical support for different sizes of DATPLM to promote production efficiency and accuracy of the film process of OCA equipment with the latest technologies.
