L. manzorum can be distinguished from the other species of the manzorum- group by the combination of the following characters: a) underside of both wings with reddish fasciae and bars that are thicker and wider than those in other species(e.g. width of forewing postdiscal fasciae in space 3: 1.21.5 mm in manzorum, 1.0 1.1 mm in others; width of hindwing postdiscal fasciae in space 3: 1.51.6 mm in manzorum, 0.91.2 mm in others); b) underside of hindwing with a reddish spot often present near the lower edge of the discoidal cell, which is absent in the other species; c) gnathos evenly broad, whereas it is expanded and pointed distally in L. monilifera (Fig. 25 a) and gradually tapered distally in the other species (Figs. 25 c, d); d) the apical part of the valva is pointed without distinct dorsal lobe, whereas it has a well-developed dorsal lobe in L. monilifera (Figs. 22, 23); e) ventral edge of valva only slightly protruding (Figs. 19, 20), whereas the central part of the ventral edge is angular in the other species. Note. The male illustrated in figs. 5 and 6 is an aberrant individual in which the hindwing postdiscal blackish spots in cells M 2 and M 3 are fused to a single spot on both sides. Distribution.
