Cannaphila Kirby, 1889 A genus of only three species, two of which occur in Ecuador. The most recent diagnosis was by Donnelly (1992). Cannaphila are medium-sized dragonflies (Fig. 88a & b) that occupy muddy seepage areas of small slow streams, usually partly shaded, from low to medium elevations. Cannaphila mortoni Donnelly, 1992.
