Mnesarete Cowley, 1934 The six species recorded in Ecuador are metallic purple, usually with dark wing tips (Fig. 10). The nymphs, which resemble those of Hetaerina, are found in small forested streams, sometimes partly open; most of the species are unknown in the nymph stage. The genus was revised by Garrison (2006). Mnesarete devillei (Selys, 1880). Publ. Recs.
