Indicator species analysis of some wild mammals; a case study of Ağlasun

Memeli türlerin ekosistem içerisinde bir arada bulunması, ekosistemin dengede olduğunun önemli bir göstergesidir. Bu çalışma Burdur-Ağlasun yöresinde yayılış gösteren memeli türlerin bir arada bulunma durumlarının tespit edilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. 70 örnek alanda gerçekleştirilen var-yok taraması sonucunda Tilki, Porsuk, Yaban tavşanı, Yaban domuzu ve Kaya sansarı türleri istatistiksel açıdan yeterli seviyede örneklenmiştir. Yaban hayvanı türlerine ait var-yok verilerine, PC-ORD programı kullanılarak kümeleme analizi yapılmış ve örnek alanlar üç gruba (A, B, C) ayrılmıştır. Gruplarla memeli türlerin ilişkilerini belirlemek amacıyla SPSS programı kullanılarak Khi-kare testi uygulanmış ve önemli olanlara intersipesifik korelasyon analizi yapılarak göster türler ve ilişki yönleri tespit edilmiştir. Grupların ve yaban hayvanlarının örnek alanlarla olan dağılımlarının görülmesi için Past programıyla Eğilimsiz Uyum Analizi (DCA) uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, A, B ve C gruplarının negatif ve pozitif gösterge türleri belirlenmiştir. DCA sonuçlarına göre, yaygın bulunan Yaban domuzu ve Yaban tavşanı örnek alanların oluşturduğu toplumlara eşit uzaklıkta kalmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda, türlerin (Yaban tavşanı ve Yaban domuzu hariç) kendine özgü yaşama ortamlarının keskin şekilde ayrıldığı görülmektedir. Son olarak, bu çalışma türlerin birbirleri ile olan ilişkilerini ortaya koymak için kullanılan analiz yöntemlerinin uygunluğunu göstermesi bakımından önemlidir.

The coexistence of mammalian species in the ecosystem is an important indicator that the ecosystem is in balance. This study was carried out to determine the conditions related to each other of some wild mammals distributed in Burdur-Ağlasun district. As a result of the presence-absence survey conducted on 70 sample plots, five species were sampled at an adequate level, statistically. Cluster analysis was performed to presence-absence data of wild mammals by PC-ORD program and sample plots were divided into three groups (A, B, C).To see the relationships between groups and mammals, Chi-square test was performed with SPSS. Indicator species and relationship orientation of these species were determined by using interspecific correlation analysis for important ones. Detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) were applied with the Past program to examine the situation of groups and wild mammals with sample plots. As a result of study, Negative and positive indicator speices of groups A, B and C were determined. According to DCA results, Wild hare and Wild boar were almost equally distant from the three groups. As a result of this study, it seems that own habitats of species (except for Wild hare and Wild boar) sharply separated. Finally, this study is also important in that it shows the mentioned analysis methods can be used to reveal the relationships of the species with each other.
