LPJ-GUESS code r12260 underlying analysis in Thomas A. M. Pugh, Rupert Seidl, Daijun Liu, Mats Lindeskog, Louise P. Chini, Cornelius Senf, The anthropogenic imprint on temperate and boreal forest demography and carbon turnover, Global Ecology and Biogeography. 10.1111/geb.13773 The files included here are LPJ-GUESS (Lund Potsdam Jena-General Ecosystem simulator) model code r12260. The code developments included are ultimately based on release 4.0 of the model code. The primary change is the addition of a new natural disturbance module as described in the above paper. LPJ-GUESS is a process-based dynamic vegetation-terrestrial ecosystem model designed for studies ranging from local to global. Models of this kind are commonly known as dynamic global vegetation models (DGVMs). Given data on climate conditions, atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and soil properties, LPJ-GUESS can predict structural, compositional and functional properties of the native ecosystems of major climate zones of the Earth.
