The purpose of the study is to determine the behavior of the fans of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the connections with the supported team. Research tasks: 1. Based on the scientific literature, distinguish the types of users of sports events and reveal the factors determining their behavior. 2. To find out the behavior of fans of the Lithuanian Basketball League. 3. To compare the behavior of Lithuanian basketball fans in terms of gender and age. 4. To determine the links between the behavior of fans of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the supported team. Research hypotheses: Men are more emotionally involved in matches than women. Older fans show more positive behavior than other age groups. Results: The main types of sports consumers are: Enthusiast, Theater Goer, Passionate Fanatic, Champion Supporter and Detached Fanatic. The behavior of the team is greatly influenced by the team's results and the displayed game, catering services, staff work, event venues, control of fans' behavior, parking lot, cleanliness in the arena. The estimates of the behavior of fans of the Lithuanian Basketball League are as follows: emotionality – 28.00; negative behavior - 21.02; and positive behavior - 35.81. LKL fans are most characterized by positive behavior. A gender comparison: Women and men are similarly engaged in team performance. Men tend to show more negative behavior than women. Women and men show similar positive behaviors. Compared between age groups: emotional involvement in team performance and positive behavior across age groups show similar results. However, the 25-39 age group shows more negative behavior compared to the 40 and older group. The fans of Panevėžys Lietkabelis are more emotionally involved in the match than the fans of Kėdainiai Nevėžis, the fans of Vilnius Rytas are more involved during the match than the fans of Kaunas Žalgiris. However, Vilnius Rytas fans show more negative behavior compared to Kaunas Žalgiris and Panevėžys Lietkabelis fans. The most positive behavior is shown by .
