This work is a representation/duplication of the artist's body. We can see the shape of his body lying on the ground, catching the unexpected rays of a winter sun in Turin. The work is made from different pieces of fast-drying cement which are marked by the artist's hand-print. A butterfly completes the picture, emphasizing the psychic vitality of this body which is receptive but in no way inert, despite indulging in an activity which is completely useless and of little worth. The fact that time and place are specified in the title indicates that the artist was already interested in dates and calendars and reflection on the silent life of the body, aspects the artist would develop in the 1970s.
