Institutional development is an important phenomenon for all countries in the world, both theoretically and practically. The main principle of institutionalism is to recognize the decisive influence of formal and informal institutions on the development of the economy. The success of the economy is related not only to natural, raw and industrial resources, but also to customs, peoples traditions, cultural values, religious beliefs, law, and the legal culture of economic activity. The book focuses on the essence of culture and the importance of cultural diversity in the global economy - the essence of culture, the role of cultural determinants in the development of the global economy; Religion as the beginning of morality and the stimulus of economic growth; Language as one of the main decisive factors of culture. The institutional space is constantly changing. Their structure is changing. New institutions emerge. Both transformational and transactional costs are affected by them. The success of individual countries depends on the economic policies and institutions working effectively. Orientation on European values is particularly important for the improvement of Georgian national values. They will allow us to make the socio-economic institutions operating in the country more progressive. To do this, it is first of all necessary to harmonize the formal institutions (laws) of Georgia with the relevant EU institutions. This will enable us to effectively implement European institutions in Georgia so that we can share our best practices and not lose sight of our national traits, our values, our customs, our rules and customs. The book is intended for students of economics and business specialties of higher education and a wide circle of readers interested in these issues.
