International audience ; Molecular visualization is a critical task usually performed by structural biologists and bioinformaticians to aid three processes that are essential in science and fundamental to understand structural molecular biology: synthesis, analysis and communication. Here we present VTX, a new molecular visualization software that includes a real-time high-performance molecular graphics engine dedicated to the visualization of large structure and dynamics of molecular systems. It is capable to process most molecular structures and trajectories file formats. VTX disposes of an interactive camera system controllable via the keyboard and/or mouse that includes different modes: 1. a classical trackball mode where the camera revolves around a fixed focus point and 2. a first-person free-fly navigation mode where the user fully controls the movement of the camera. VTX includes an intuitive and highly usable graphical user interface and tools designed for expert and non-expertusers. It is free for non-commercial use at http://vtx.drugdesign.fr
