Jens Pederson now sports a bran new watch-chain. William Iigel was glad to receive some money from his father not long ago. The skating-rink this winter will be larger than the one the boys made last year. One of the pupils remarked that lie was beginning to pity the fat turkeys. I >on't you ! One pleasant moonlight evening this week the gentleman teachers took a bicycle ride. Leister Williams received a substantial remembrance from his folks a few days ago. Rimer Stearns enjoyed a visit from' his aunt on Sunday. She is a nurse at the hospital in town. Willie Messncr's sister, who was married on Nov. 4-. sent him a box of wedding-cake this week. Olga and (iustavc Anderson heard from home the other day. The letter made them very happy. The road in front of the building has been greatly improved the last week by being covered with gravel. Oscar Tweto received a nice letter from his sister. Alma, Tuesday. She writes to him quite often. Lindeman Bull and Leister \\ illiams expect to have pictures taken together some time in the near fut ure. William Weber came back to school Monday. He drove to the city with his father and a friend. Word has been received that little Geneva Sangstad's grandfather is very ill. We are very sorry to hear it. We are again indebted to Mr. M m. Wade, of Oakmont. Pa., for an addition of four volumes to our library. Willie Messner expects to get a bicycle in a few days as lie has received word that his sister has sent one to him. Barbara Schmidt and Mabel Thompson are making some very pretty doilies. Mabel will send hers home when it is linished. Gabriel Grant's sister sent him a paper in which were some pictuies of the Fargo police force, to which his father belongs. Willie llermanson is one of our new pupils who has come in late. Me has attended the Wisconsin School at Lehm an two years. W e have a now ...
