Now the farmer taken the weival And he throwed him on the ice. The weivel said tb the farmer, "This sho makes me fill nice." Gonna be my home, Gonna be my home. So the farmaer taken the weival and He throws him in the sand And the weivel says to the farmer, gonna take this like a man It will be my home, Gonn be my home. Now the merchant got half the cotton And the weivels got the rest. It didn't leave the farmer's wife, but one old cotton dress And it's full of holes, Plumb full of holes. Now if anybody should ask ya Jus who it was that made this song.
