V magistrskem delu Intermodalni transport kontejnerjev kot alternativa klasičnemu transportu iz Shanghaija v mesta osrednje Evrope bomo predstavili intermodalni transport in njegovo vlogo v okviru prometne politike Republike Slovenije. Opisali bomo vlogo logista, ki lahko s svojo naravnanostjo in poslanstvom veliko vpliva na razvoj intermodalnega transporta. V nalogi bomo predstavili tudi nekaj projektov, ki vplivajo in bodo vplivali na razvoj intermodalnega transporta v Evropski uniji. Intermodalni transport predstavlja veliko priložnost za nadaljnji razvoj in povečan obseg transporta v Sloveniji in Evropski uniji. Slovenija lahko izkoristi vse prednosti svoje geografske lege (luka Koper — kot vstopna luka v EU in križanje V. in X. koridorja na območju Slovenije). V drugem delu pa bomo poskusili s praktičnim primerom izračuna prevoznih stroškov iz Shanghaija do nekaterih evropskih mest dokazati, da je intermodalni transport cenejša, varnejša, hitrejša in ekološko prijaznejša oblika transporta kot klasičen transport. ; In my thesis with the title Intermodal transport of containers as an alternative to classical transport from Shanghai to different cities on Central Europe we will present the intermodal transport and its part in the transport policy of the Republic of Slovenia. We will describe the job of CTO, which can with its orientation and mission of a large impact on the development of intermodal transport. We will present some projects that affect and will affect the development of intermodal transport in the EU. Intermodal transport represents a significant opportunity for further development and increased volume of transport in Slovenia and the EU. Slovenia can exploit all the advantages of its geographical location (port Koper - as an entry port in the EU and the cross V. and Corridor X in Slovenia).
