The parameters of Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) radar signals are hard to identify by using traditional periodogram signal processing techniques. Using the Wigner Distribution (WD), this thesis examines eight types of LPI radar signals. Signal to noise ratios of 0 dB and -6dB are also investigated. The eight types LPI radar signals examined include Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (FMCW), Frank code, P1 code, P2 code, P3 code, P4 code, COSTAS frequency hopping and Phase Shift Keying/Frequency Shift Keying (PSK/FSK) signals. Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) signals although not LPI, are also examined to further illustrate the principal characteristics of the WD. ; http://archive.org/details/analysisoflowpro109455231 ; Captain, Republic of China (Taiwan) Army ; Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.
