Bundle numbers hru_1253a to 1253h are short stories of various genre and 2 songs by Sasu Sakrinsow (Sasusow), the best-known storyteller of Sakrin village. His narration style is quite simple and language easy to understand. These were recorded at Sasu's bamboo kitchen. Video: Recorded under extremely low light condition with Canon XA20, settings - Auto. Audio: Somewhat noisy and rainy village surroundings. Minimal echo thanks to bamboo walls. Micropone: Superlux S502 stereo cardioid condenser microphone. Audio recorded directly on Canon XA20 video camera using XLR inputs and extracted later using Any Video Converter software. Phantom power: 48V external supply with Millennium phantom power adapter. Recording Specs: Stereo, 48000 Hz, 32 bit float. ; Son of Tsering Sasusow, married to Kusum Sasusow and the father of 7 children (Karmo (M), Sonam (M), Tage (M), Abu (M), Nulyom (F), Atsum (F) and Yali (F). Worked at ITBP from 1968-76. A respected elder of Sakrin Village, and well-known for his extensive knowledge of oral history (of myths and stories) and customary law. Original village: Sakrin, now resident in Thrizino ; Born in Karnataka, India. Working in Northeast India as a Jesuit since 1999. Involved with Hrusso Aka orthography development and language support since 1999, having learned the language at Palizi while teaching. Currently doing a DPhil (PhD) in linguistics at the University of Oxford, UK (Thesis: A Grammar of Hrusso Aka). Founder and leader of the Hrusso Literature Team, formed in 2017. ; Daughter of Achambu Sakrinsow. Original village: Sakrin, now resident in Thrizio
