The article proposes an innovative approach to teaching 1st grade polynomial functions, integrating educational technology through the Modellus software with the principles of Didactic Engineering. Didactic Engineering aims to promote meaningful learning of mathematical content, considering the peculiarities and challenges faced by students, while Modellus enables visual and dynamic exploration of concepts. The combination of these approaches aims to make teaching more dynamic, interactive and contextualized, seeking to provide more effective and motivating learning for students. The theoretical foundation highlights the importance of educational technology in teaching Mathematics, along with the relevance of Didactic Engineering for planning challenging didactic sequences. Preliminary analyzes identify the relationship between the use of Modellus and the Didactic Engineering approach in the specific context of 1st grade polynomial functions. The design of the didactic situation is developed considering the potential of the software and the principles of Didactic Engineering, aiming to provide a more efficient and engaging educational approach. Therefore, it is expected that this study will not only contribute to improving the teaching of polynomial functions in the 1st degree, but also offer an innovative and effective perspective for the educational context, aligned with the contemporary demands of mathematical learning. ; El artículo propone un enfoque innovador para la enseñanza de funciones polinómicas de 1º grado, integrando la tecnología educativa a través del software Modellus con los principios de la Ingeniería Didáctica.
