— Data are today an asset more critical than ever for all organizations we may think of. With the increasing use of digital technology in all aspects of life, the security of data has become a critical concern. The need for secure communication and storage of sensitive data has led to the development of encryption techniques that can ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data. One such technique is the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), a widely used symmetric-key encryption algorithm that provides strong security guarantees. In this paper, we present a study on data security and privacy using AES key encryption. We first introduce the basic concepts of encryption and the AES algorithm. We then discuss the different modes of operation of AES and their applications. We also examine the key management techniques that can be used to securely generate and exchange AES keys.
