Metaplasmo di genere e plurale in -ure intorno a Maglie (Lecce) / Gender metaplasm and plural in -ure around Maglie (Lecce) / Métaplasme du genre et pluriel en -ure dans les environs de Maglie (Lecce)

This study, conducted in Southern Salento, is concerned with an investigation of the vitality of two morphological phenomena, gender metaplasm in dialect and regional Italian and plural formation in -ure in the dialect, with reference to a few items, selected on the basis of the literature. The focus of the investigation is the geolinguistic role, particularly dynamic, of the locality of Maglie, for which an innovative influence on the neighbouring micro-area is assumed. This hypothesis is tested, through field research and experimental analysis, considering both diastratic and diatopic perspectives.
