We study the bifurcation structure of the equation ut + uux + δuxxx + uxx + uxxxx = 0 in a small domain L by using a five-mode truncation. As dispersion increases quantitative and qualitative changes occur. A characteristic feature due to dispersion is the coexistence of stable travelling waves of different basic wavenumber and speed.
