Laboratory measurements of compressional wave velocities (Vp) complex electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility have been carried out on a mylonitic clinopyroxene amphibolite (MCA) and an epidote-muscovite-quartz ultramylonite (MQU) from the Ivrea Zone. Both mylonites exhibit significant anisotropies that are related to the rock fabric. At low pressure of about 50 MPa the anisotropy of Vp for the MCA and MQU is 17 and 34%, respetively.
