The reaction of Mn(CO)5X (X=Cl,Br,I) with 1,4,7-trithiacylononane (L) in dimethylformamide affords yellow crystals of [LMn(CO)3]X. The crystal structure of [LMn(CO)3]3(PF6)2Br•2H2O has been determined by X-ray crystallography.
