On étudie la mise en œuvre et les performances de détecteurs à large bande pour ces formes d'ondes, en présence d'un bruit blanc gaussien superposé. On examine la dégradation des performances lorsque l'on passe de structures de détecteurs optimales à sous-optimales. Dans les 2 cas, les performances sont quantifiées par des mesures de distance définies correctement, et sont comparées à celles du dispositif discriminateur avec l'hypothèse la plus simple, à savoir le détecteur d'énergie.
