Corporation Mirovaya Karta (World Map), which unites a network of 11 restaurants, purchased hotel Khreschatyk for UAH 45mn (USD 8.5mn) from Kyiv City Administration. Khreschatyk, a 3-star hotel, is located in the downtown of Kyiv. There are 180 apartments for 150 guests. According to MK's shareholder Michael Don, the corporation always intended to expand its services and looked forward to buy a hotel. It has been negotiating for 1.5 years. Finally, the deal was finished in November. Don underlined that MK owned some quarters and rooms in the hotel, thus, has a priority right to buy it. Currently, the company intends to attract a loan for financing reconstruction and modernization of Khreschatyk, after which it will become a 4-star hotel. MK's network includes the following restaurants ' Tequila House, Golden Gate, Mimino, Sam's Steak House, Lipsky Osobnyak, Opiun Dance Club, Asakhi, L'amour, Marrakesh, Vine Boutique, Razgulyaevo, and Dolce. The latter is coming soon.
