Fossil pollen from the Upper Humbu Formation of Peninj (Tanzania) : hominid adaptation to a dry open Plio-Pleistocene savanna environment

Cet article traite de l'adaptation des hominidés, vivant à l'ouest du lac Natron, à l'environnement sec et exposé de la savane au cours du Pliocène et du Pléistocène. Des études ont été effectuées sur des pollens de fossiles découverts à Peninj (Tanzanie). Il semblerait que les habitats aient été très proches de la végétation environnante.
