Le 10 mai 2006, l'Institut de l'entreprise a organisé un «chat» avec Jean-Christophe Le Duigou, expert économique de la CGT. Le texte suivant reproduit cet échange entre les internautes et J.-C. Le Duigou, échange qui permet de mesurer quelles sont les positions de la CGT, la principale centrale syndicale française, qui fut un temps la «courroie de transmission » du Parti communiste et qui mène depuis les années 1980 une politique de modernisation et d'affirmation de son indépendance par rapport aux partis politiques de la gauche traditionnelle.
