Compte rendu d'un rassemblement de bibliothécaires, qui a eu lieu dans la région de Brühl en Allemagne, où la discussion portait sur l'automatisation des bibiothèques. Au centre de ces discussions se trouvait le système de gestion des bibliothèques BIS-LOK et ses diiférents modes d'utilisations. De plus le problème des logiciels et de leur adaptabilité sur les systèmes d'exploitations courants (UNIX, Novell, VMS) ont été soulevés en groupes de travail. Cet article traite plus particulièrement du problème du passage du système d'exploitation BLUT (=BIS-LOK-unter UNIX-Treffen) à BLUME (=BIS-LOK unter Mehrplatz-Betreibssystem).
