Ken Russell, 64, is renowned for shocking viewers with his films. He is making a four-part series of D.H. Lawrence's 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' for the BBC. He lives in Marylebone, London, England, in a mews next to a second-hand car showroom, although his wife and children live in the Lake District. The script omits bits he would like as it was written for a previous director, so he has collaborated on it himself, with producer Michael Haggiag. It is based on three versions written by Lawrence: The First Lady Chatterley, John Thomas and Lady Chatterley's Lover.
