Carbon nanotubes are filled with Ni, Co, Cu, Ag by means of low-temperature combustion synthesis. Control of the concentration of nitrate metal solution (Ni, Co, Cu, Ag) in the CNTs is crucial and is accomplished by adjusting different percentage of CHZ (carbohydrazide), different shaky time by ultrasonic and drying the liquid reactions. A model to account for the filling and growth characteristics is proposed based on observations made with a high-resolution transmission electron microscope and selected area electron diffraction. From the investigation, it is available to take place low-temperature combustion synthesis in carbon nanotubes and carbon nanotubes are filled with metals. The percentage of filling: Ag > Cu > Ni > Co in same situation, the long shaky time of ultrasonic > the short shaky time of ultrasonic. The concentration of CHZ need the optimal percentage to get more CNTs filled metals. Drying the liquid reactants have a great support to improve the CNTs filled. In this study, this technique can be used to synthesise nanoparticles filled with Ni, Co, Cu, Ag.
