Lamp industry is a high-growth project of automotive components industry in our country. The produce of the lamp was 3.85 billion NT dollar in 2000, growth to 9.77 billion NT dollar in 2004, and it was over 12.5 billion NT dollar in 2009. Compound Annual Growth Rate of the lamp industry was over 25 percent. The specification of lamp is divided into SAE and ECE. SAE is more exacting. The lamp needs to be detected light appearance and intensity by optical instruments, and it needs to fill the standard before it leave the factory. Factories purchased expensive examining equipment for repeated detection, likes LMT optical measurement system. The drawback of the automatic examining equipment is expensive and detection of slow speed. It needs 30 minutes to detect a lamp, and the distance of detective space is 25 meters. Accompanying the specification was more exacting, in the past we only need to sample some lamps, and now we need to detect all the lamps on the production line. So we need to purchase more equipment for every production line. The detective speed and price of the examining equipment become important factors. The examining equipment on the market can’t satisfy the factory, who needs detect all the lamps on the production line. We detect light intensity of the lamp by High Dynamic Range Image, and it only need 15 to 20 second to reach immediately detection. And we use the Fresnel lens to shorten the measurement distance. We can reduce the stray light by our lamp box.
