A finite difference scheme for blow-up solutions of the convective reaction-diffusion equations

In this paper, we consider a nite dierence scheme for the convective reaction-diusion equations ut = uxx + (um)x + u^beta; (0m>=1 and alpha > 0 are parameters. We prove that the numerical solutions blow up in nite time with large initial data and that the numerical blow-up time converges to the theoretical one. Moreover, our analysis shows that the numerical solutions don't blow up in x > 1/2 with certain initial data.
