When I think of mother's lack of financial support, how she took the burdens of the livelihood and her strong stress brought me much sadness and distress in my younger time. It formed an invisible but powerful line of overlapping entanglements. In the way of becoming an illustrator, I saw a new light. My interest in painting relieved my mental pressures. It encouraged me to explore the shackles of this invisible power with art works. Discovering the characteristics of different materials, I experimented different ways of creations and sensed the power of dynamic lines in painting. “The Entanglement” includes three series of painting works. The "Wrap Around" series depicts the knot formed in the rhythm of day-to-day life. Under the challenge of managing my work, study and family, the more I work eagerly, the more I am troubled by this wrapping power. The series of "Black and White" begins with the opposition of the dynamics of the body, allowing it to rotate in a circular frame. The "Moving Perspective" series are made by casting colors on rows of cubes intuitively as one would relieve stresses.
