Metal-tube modular furniture has already occupied a considerable number in our lives. In the central Taiwan, it has formed an industrial settlement. In the initial rough and simple processing and production mode, Made in Taiwan is in the consumer impression, but bad quality has always been a serious problem.. In recent years, with the improvement of the quality of life, the rise of consumer awareness, and the increasing quality requirements of products, these product vendors are also faced with how to improve product quality, increase production speed, reduce costs, and reduce production losses, in line with the current market. How to improve the use rate of tubular punching dies is an important key. This research collects relevant literature and uses the Delphi technology, and invites a number of experts to discuss. After in-depth interviews and three times of the Delphi expert questionnaire, through statistical analysis, experts have studied " Improving Mold Yield–An example of taking metal pipe type mandrel punching die 〞. The critical success factors include: research and development, raw materials, production equipment and production management four perpesitives, and seven factors, they are: 1.The R&D unit's understanding of its product structure, 2.The precision requirements of the mold assembly, 3.The selection of different mold materials for different materials, 4.Drawing tolerances and actual product tolerance settings, 5.The precision of the machine tool equipment of the production equipment supplier, 6.The grinding process after the heat treatment is completed, and 7.The CNC tool machining program is modularized. The results of this study are expected to improve the quality and create international competitiveness of tube-related products, and provide reference for the design, planning and production of future tube-through punching molds.
