As climate change becomes more serious, people begin to attach importance to environmental issues and think about ways to reduce the damage to the earth while having a comfortable life. This study on a Heat Insulation Solar Low-E Glass for the electric power and energy efficiency, using different cutting degree of Thin Film BIPV Module for processing. Through optical test, thermal test, Standard Test Conditions, airtight test and energy-saving test, we can know the benefits of Thin Film BIPV Module when it is processed into Heat Insulation Solar Low-E Glass. The software is used to simulate power generation and energy consumption. Various types of energy-saving glasses are applied on buildings to observe their changes and the differences between cities in different climates. The differences of Heat Insulation Solar Glass (HISG), Thin Film BIPV Module and Heat Insulation Solar Low-E Glass (HISLG) in the above experiments are compared. Finally, the economic benefits of Taiwan are evaluated. It is found that the performance of Thin Film BIPV Module has been improved after being processed into Heat Insulation Solar Low-E Glass. In terms of thermal properties, the U value and shading coefficient will decrease, which have a considerable effect on the insulation of solar radiation and thermal conduction. Application in the building will give the interior a comfortable environment. In the Standard Test Conditions, the Thin Film BIPV Module also has a increase in power generation after processing. The results show that Heat Insulation Solar Low-E Glass has better heat insulation than ordinary glass or ordinary energy-saving glass. It can also produce electricity to supply buildings. If replacing the glass of traditional buildings, it can reduce power demand and carbon dioxide emissions.
