This study primarily addressed the practical techniques that can be used to develop a smart modularized management system for wax-recycling equipment produced with lost-wax casting. The integration of a lost-wax device, a high-speed water evaporation vat, a recycle bin, a resting bin, and telecommunication equipment enables the equipment manufacturing parameters, the parameter sequence, and relevant production information during the wax-recycling processes to be derived and transmitted to the back-end production monitoring management system through wired communications. Consequently, equipment errors occurring during the production and manufacturing processes can be immediately detected and handled, thus reducing the rejection rate of synthetic wax and reducing quality difference between synthetic wax and new wax. Additionally, manufacturing parameters are provided for the adjustment of equipment production parameters and optimization of production processes. Moreover, the production information provided in this report can be used by managers to analyze production capacity, improve overall equipment operation time, and increase equipment output as well as help decision-makers to develop business strategies.
