This article presents a small collection of five unpublished papyri fragments containing hieratic texts. The fragments are currently housed in the University Library of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Their provenance is discussed and it is argued that they belonged to the collection of Ferdinand Orban (1655–1732), a Bavarian Jesuit priest, before they were passed to the University in 1773. All five fragments (two of which probably belong to the same papyrus) are quite small in size and can be dated to the late New Kingdom. While two fragments form part of the same letter (most probably written in the Theban area), two others consist of the remains of a religious/astronomical manual.
